Here is a plot of:

This is the function used to modulate the IPT exponent in iCAM.

The following is a plot of the resulting IPT exponent, clipping the modulator at 0.3 on the bottom.

Here is memorial, going to IPT using a uniform exponent of 0.43 * 0.3, and back using the normal IPT transform and corrected for sRGB display.
